COMPLAINT
The securing clamps for the charge-air hoses are prone to cracking.
CAUSE
Corrosion of the clamps caused by the effects of road salt.
REMEDY
Installation of heat-treated hose clamps.
MEASURE TYPE
The scope of the work is carried out as part of a Customer Service measure (KDM).
INFORMATION
To avoid uncertainty at the time of parts ordering, please refer to the installation description to
check which engine is fitted in the vehicle.
Please note: Citaro LE and Setra LE belong to the category of interurban bus with OM 936
upright.
With the exception of the following model designations of the Citaro LE: C628503,
C628513, C628523, C628524. These 4 model designations belong to the category of city
bus with OM 936 upright.
DEFECT PART HANDLING
For workshops in which parts control is carried out via GALA, the GALA specifications are
binding. For workshops in which parts control is not carried out via GALA, the removed defect
parts must be scrapped locally on expiry of the quarantine storage period.
