Please discard PIP5458. Brand: Model: Chevrolet Camaro Model Year: VIN: from to 2017 2018 from Engine: Transmission: to LT4, LT1 Involved Region or Country North America and N.A. Export Regions Additional RPO/s: G96 Condition Some customers may comment on a Service Rear Differential message displayed on the DIC. Some technicians may find DTC C0407 set. Cause This condition may be caused by software anomaly in the Rear Differential Clutch Control Module (RDCCM). Correction The RDCCM must be updated to the latest software calibrations available. Service Procedure Warranty Information Important: Stable battery voltage is critical during programming. Any fluctuation, spiking, over voltage or loss of voltage will interrupt programming. Install the EL-49642 SPS Programming Support Tool to maintain system voltage. If not available, connect a fully charged 12 V jumper or booster pack disconnected from the AC voltage supply. DO NOT connect a battery charger. Program the RDCCM to the latest software. Refer to K47 Rear Differential Clutch Control Module: Programming and Setup in SI. For vehicles repaired under warranty, use: Labor Operation Description Labor Time 2810695 Rear Differential Clutch Control Module Reprogramming with SPS Use Published Labor Operation Time Parts Information No parts are required at this time.
