Bulletin No.: PIC5965B Date: Mar-2015 Subject: Various Heating And Cooling Concerns With HVAC Control Module Models: 2014 - 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Built Before February 10, 2015 This PI was superseded to update Build Date in Models. Please discard PIC5965A. The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern A customer may comment that any of the following conditions may be present at start-up: – Blower motor and/or indicators are inoperative – Blower motor may be blowing but speed cannot be adjusted Upon further inspection, DTC U1510 may be set in the ECC (Electronic Climate Control) module. This module is commonly referred to as the HVAC module. Recommendation/Instructions If any of the concerns listed above are encountered, technicians are to reprogram the ECC module. An updated ECC module software calibration has been released to address these concerns. Refer to the HVAC System Control Module Programming and Setup procedures in SI. Warranty Information For vehicles repaired under warranty use: Labor Operation Description Labor Time 2810015 HVAC System Control Module Reprogramming with SPS Use Published Labor Time Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
