Root Cause: • Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) can freeze, causing the aftertreatment DEF dosing unit electrical connector to crack and leak DEF. Confirmation • Use the appropriate fault code troubleshooting tree to confirm and troubleshoot the corresponding fault codes. See the corresponding Fault Code Troubleshooting Manual. • During the troubleshooting process, look for evidence of leaking DEF around the aftertreatment DEF dosing unit electrical connector.
