Due to an allocation error, there is a possibility that the air guides for the brake discs on the
front axle were not supplied with the affected vehicles during the production process.
As a result, the air guides may not have been fitted during the sales check at the dealership.
Remedial
Action:
Fit air guides for brake discs in the front wheel housing.

Fitting air guides for brake discs
Raise the vehicle on a lifting platform Workshop Manual '4X00IN01 Lifting the vehicle'.
Work Procedure: 1

Turn the steering fully to the left.

Push on fastening nut on holder in the longitudinal member area.

Position air guide  Fitting air guide -2- on the longitudinal member and left wheel housing liner.

Tighten fastening screws  Fitting air guide -1-.
Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

Turn the steering fully to the right and repeat steps 3
to 5 on the other side of the vehicle.

Move the steering to straight-ahead position.

Remove the vehicle from the lifting platform. 

Enter the campaign in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.
