Introduction
The Southeast Toyota carbon fiber dash appliqué restricts the backlighting of the A/C
control panel blower speed, temperature control, and mode selection switches. This may
hinder visibility of A/C controls in low light conditions. Revised Dash Appliqué, 0001634A61-IP utilizes cut outs in the switch locations to address this concern.

Port Installed Option (PIO) - is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles from the vehicle’s in-service date, whichever
occurs first. Unless otherwise specified in vehicle VIN inquiry.
Dealer Installed Option (DIO) - is in effect for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the date the part(s) was
installed on the vehicle or the remainder of any applicable New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever provides greater
coverage.
Over the Counter Sale (OCS) - is in effect for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the date the part(s) were sold.
Labor is not warranted for over-the counter service part replacements.

Repair
Note: The Southeast Toyota Carbon Fiber dash overlay affixes to the AC Control panel
using adhesive tape. Care should be taken not to damage AC control panel during
removal of appliqué.
1. Starting at a corner, peal appliqué from surface of AC control Panel.
2. Clean IP control panel surface with 50/50 alcohol and water solution.
3. Position appliqué over dash to check for proper fit
prior to install.
4. Remove adhesive liner from appliqué. Do not touch
adhesive during installation.
5. Align appliqué uniformly to edges; gently place
appliqué onto factory dash (Fig. 1)
6. Once positioned correctly, press firmly on appliqué
from the center outward toward edges to ensure
maximum adhesion contact.
