ServiceNews Article June 2018 A18060H Version 1 Noise From the Front of the Vehicle AFFECTED VEHICLES Year Model Trim 2016-17 Pilot ALL 2017 Ridgeline ALL Loose bulkhead cover latches and strikers can cause a grinding, rattle, flutter, buzz and/or vibration from the front of the vehicle when lightly accelerating with the engine speed under 2,000 rpm. This can also happen when shifting and may be mistaken for a torque converter shudder. Before diving into any heavy troubleshooting, remove the front bulkhead cover and test-drive the vehicle. If you don’t hear that noise or feel that vibration with the bulkhead cover off, replacing the latches and strikers should take care of the issue. But if there’s no change with the cover off, then continue with normal system troubleshooting. © 2018 American Honda Motor Co., Inc. — All Rights Reserved Page 1 of 1
