Electronic Engine Controls).
If a short/open circuit condition is found, repair before continuing with this
Technical Bulletin (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 418-02: Electrical
Distribution - Wiring Harness - General Procedures - Wiring Harness Repair).
Once the repair is completed, go to Diagnostic Procedure 'A' below.
If a short/open circuit condition is not found, go to Step 2.
2
Replace the DPF differential pressure sensor (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 303-14:
Electronic Engine Controls).
1 Once the repair is completed, go to Diagnostic Procedure 'B' below.
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE 'A':
CAUTIONS:
A Jaguar Land Rover-approved Midtronics battery power supply must be connected to the
vehicle startup battery during diagnosis / module programming.
All ignition ON/OFF requests must be carried out. Failure to perform these steps may cause
damage to control modules in the vehicle.
1
Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved Midtronics battery power supply to the vehicle
startup battery.
2
NOTE:
The Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic tool must be loaded with SDD153.02
Software Management Pack v294 (or later).
Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic tool to the vehicle and begin a new
session.
