SITUATION
The turn signal switch and wiper switch appear uneven when the
steering wheel is used as a reference point
CAUSE
The fixture for the steering column stalk and the washer fluid switch is assembled on a slant
CORRECTION
Replace the steering column
PROCEDURE
Remove the steering column as per repair instructions REP 32 31 092 Remove and install steering column and
place on a level surface.
The attachment points at the bottom left and right must be the
same distance on the level surface.
If the distances are different, the riveting is slanted. Replace the steering column.

All replaced steering columns claimed under this Service Information Bulletin will be requested for return to the
WPRC for analysis.
