An issue has been identified at PDI where the Telematics fails to illuminate the
E-call button and the ‘SOS is not available’ message may be displayed in the
Instrument Cluster (IC). New software has been developed and released to
resolve this issue with the release of Pathfinder 165. Last month I spoke about
issues programming the Telematics Control Module (TCU) with Pathfinder,
these issues have now been resolved and programming may continue. XJ
models are excluded from this as they still require SDD which is unaffected by
the programming concern.
