Issue
Symptom:
• FC2724
Root Cause:
• Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) high-pressure regulator set higher than
specification.
• Incorrect OEM high-pressure regulator installed.
Verification
• Turn keyswitch ON.
• Connect INSITE™ electronic service tool.
• Start engine and run at low idle speed, use INSITE™ electronic service tool to check
parameter titled: Fuel Regulator Intake Pressure

• If Fuel Regulator Intake Pressure is greater than 204 in hg [ 100 psi ], see
Resolution section.
• If Fuel Regulator Intake Pressure is less than 204 in hg [ 100 psi ] continue to
published troubleshooting.
Resolution
• If OEM high-pressure regulator is adjustable, set to 163 to173 in hg gauge (80 to 85
psi).
• If OEM high-pressure regulator setting is not adjustable, contact OEM fuel system
provider and direct to AEB 21.25 Automotive/Bus Installation Requirements for CNG
Fuel Systems, “High Pressure Regulator” section.
