Complaint:
The "Tire pressure loss detection system inoperative" message appears sporadically (for approx. 1-2 seconds) in the
instrument cluster in yellow whilst driving or after engine start.
Note:
No fault codes are entered into the ESP control unit (N30/4).
All tires have the correct tire pressure.
Cause:
Possibly software.
Remedy:
Update of ESP software.
Note:
Software is available with
- DVD 12/2017 and add-on 9782
- DVD 03/2018 and add-on 9783
- from DVD 05/2018 without add-on
