Complaint:
Road test cannot be started after exchanging the ESP control unit or after successfully updating the software.
Note:
Software A204 902 21 00 is present in the ESP control unit (N30/4).
In addition, only code (DTC) C5410 Active is present in control unit N30/4.
Cause:
With implementation of the software, switch S6/1s5 (ESP Off button) is discontinued from the series.
Remedy:
Activate road test by operating the brake pedal.
Note:
It is possible that a CAN bus idle of the vehicle is required beforehand.
