Customer states:
 The air conditioning system sometimes does not work, only warm air comes out of the vents
 The MIL is sometimes on in connection with poor engine performance
Workshop findings:
One or more of the following DTC(s) can be entered into the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word
0001):
 DTC P195000 (cooling fan -V7 - stiff/blocked)
And/or
 DTC P10EF00 (restricted function because of radiator fan failure)

And/or the following DTC can be stored in the heating/air conditioning electronics, E87 (address word 0008):
 DTC B10F000 (restricted function because A/C compressor was switched off by engine)
Note:
After terminal 15 cycle/ignition cycle the air conditioning works again and the engine emergency operation ends.
Tip: This DTC has no effect on the function of the cooling fan and does not indicate a failure in the cooling
fan.
Technical Background
Voltage drop at hot start causes a DTC(s) to appear without cause.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
Vehicles with 2.0 TFSI engine:
If this DTC is discovered during service or any other unrelated repair, erase the DTC upon exiting GFF.
When diagnosing this DTC due to a customer concern, only replace the cooling fan if the GFF test result instructs
to replace the cooling fan.
Vehicles with 3.0 TFSI engine:
 Update the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 0001) using the SVM action code as listed in
the table below, if necessary (see TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating
instructions):
