Workshop findings: One or more of the following DTCs is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 0001): DTC P24CC00 (Reductant Tank Cap Switch Circuit Range Open). DTC P24CB00 (Reductant Tank Cap Switch Circuit). No relevant component or electrical problems are found when Guided Fault Finding (GFF) is run on the stored fault codes. Technical Background The reducing agent active tank cap switch is prone to sticking, especially in hot and humid climates. If the switch sticks when vehicle is refilled with AdBlue, this fault will be triggered. Production Solution Vehicle is out of production, improved part as a service solution. Service 1. Remove active tank according to instructions in the Elsa Repair Manual. 2. Replace cap microswitch located on active tank filler neck with improved part 4L0133093B. Reinstall active tank according to instructions in the Elsa Repair Manual. Warranty Claim Type: 110 up to 48 Months/50,000 Miles. G10 for CPO Covered Vehicles – Verify Owner.
