Fog Light Assembly- Design Change
INTRODUCTION:
This Service Information bulletin announces a change made to the lens portion of the fog
light assembly. The new lens has optimized light distribution characteristics while remaining
interchangeable with the original type.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:
There is no production change information as this information only applies to service (replacement)
parts.
PART INFORMATION:
These new fog light assemblies are identified by a colored
label affixed to the back side as shown here. The labels are
either pink, green or white depending on the application.

SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION:
REMINDER: Customer satisfaction and retention starts with performing quality repairs.
The service procedure for replacing the fog light assembly remains unchanged. Always refer to
the applicable Service Manual and review the full requirements of the repair being performed. The
Service Manual procedures contain information critical to performing an effective repair the first time
and every time.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
•
As stated in the Introduction, these new fog light assemblies are interchangeable with the
originals and DO NOT need to be replaced in pairs or as a set.
•
Always remove the colored label when installation is complete.

•
