CONDITION SUMMARY:
SITUATION:
A rattle noise may be evident from the engine compartment and may appear louder while the engine is
under load or on overrun. The noise may also appear louder when starting the engine from a cold engine.
CAUSE:
This may be caused by excessive movement within the turbocharger wastegate actuator arm linkage.
ACTION:
Should a customer express this concern, follow the Workshop Procedure below.
