RATTLE/BUZZ IN SUNSHADE

SITUATION
There is a rattle or buzz originating from the vicinity sunshade/ hands-free microphone, usually
while driving on a rough surface.
CAUSE
Uncovered microphone plug vibrates against components behind headliner.
CORRECTION
Cover microphone plug with tape or foam
PROCEDURE
For conditions that are similar to the situation described:
1. Remove hands-free microphone from headliner.
2. Pull harness wire out until connector is accessible.
3. Wrap connection with felt tape.

4. Push wire back into headliner.
5. Snap microphone back into headliner.
