SITUATION
Wheel studs may loosen after wheels for the rear axle are incorrectly fitted to the front axle on vehicles equipped
with option 2NK (ceramic brakes).
CAUSE
Incorrect installation of rear axle winter tires (wheel style 409M) onto the front axle in conjunction with ceramic
brakes
CORRECTION
Ensure that the wheels with the correct offset are mounted to the appropriate axle.
The specific part number on the wheel provides information about the correct installation location.
Front axle:
2 284 254 ET: (rim offset) 32
Rear axle:
2 284 255 ET: (rim offset) 25
