Page 1 of 1 SI B54 04 14 Special Roofs April 2014 Technical Service SUBJECT Delivery Stop: Wiring Harness Sensor Rear Module MODEL E89 (Z4) SITUATION A Delivery Stop has been issued on certain 2014 model year E89 vehicles produced from March 26, 2014 through April 01, 2014. These vehicles may be faulty with the routing of the micro switch connector for the retractable hard top. Affected vehicles in dealer inventory must not be retailed or delivered until this issue is corrected. Vehicles at ports of entry will be repaired prior to dealer delivery. This bulletin will be updated with instructions and warranty information when parts become available. Please contact your field representatives if you have any questions. Affected vehicles are listed in the attachment to this bulletin and can be identified with a “Vehicle Comment” in DCS Warranty Vehicle Inquiry or ISPA with the description: Defect Code 0054360100, Delivery Stop, Wiring Harness Sensor Rear Module, see SI B54 04 14.
