AFFECTED VEHICLES: 2018 Outlander PHEV
PURPOSE
In July 2018 MMNA released TSB-18-54-005 for 2018 PHEV to address the illumination of
various warning lights accompanied by DTCs P0AA7 and P0AA8 (some other DTCs may exist
also). MMNA has recently discovered that a communication problem may exist with this
software update and is currently asking dealers to refrain from performing this software
update on 2018 PHEVs until further notice. MMNA anticipates a resolution to this issue very
soon.
NOTE: This issue has no impact on any recall campaigns, including SR-18-007 and SR-18-008
that were released October 2, 2018.
