SUBJECT
TeileClearing for Steering Systems
MODEL
F30
SITUATION
Effective Monday, January 7, 2013, TeileClearing requirements were removed for the F30 Electric Power Steering
(EPS).
Test plans for the steering system have been improved as a result of the TeileClearing action.
Fault code 4823C6, stored in EPS, has been resolved with programming and the test plan to update the I-Level. Follow
test plan ABL-DIT-AT3244_EPS_25_SG_X2.
Fault code 4823E1, stored in EPS, has been resolved with programming. The test plan states to clear the code.
Diagnostic feedback has been submitted to fix the test plan. Update the I-Level to the most current level, using recently
released ISTA/P 2.48.2 or higher.
Report any error in the test plans using the Diagnosis Feedback (envelope) icon on the top of the status bar (refer to SI
B07 06 08).
For technical support on the F30 EPS, please submit a regular PuMA case.
