Incomplete AdBlue Check Control Message (CCM) on the Central Information Display

SITUATION
An incorrectly displayed AdBlue (Diesel Exhaust Fluid refill range) CCM is shown on the Central
Information Display.
CAUSE
Improper instrument cluster software
CORRECTION
Reprogram and encode vehicle.

If the vehicle condition is similar to the situation described:
1. Run diagnostics with ISTA/D.
Work through the corresponding test module.
2. Program and encode the vehicle with ISTA/P 3.58.1 / 16 -03-502 or a more recent version.
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do
not have the latest software. For information on programming and coding with ISTA/P, refer to
CenterNet / TIS / Technical Documentation / Programming and Diagnostics / Programming
Documentation.
Always connect a BMW approved battery charger / power supply (SI B04 23 10).

Covered under the terms of the BMW New Vehicle Limited Warranty for Passenger Cars and Light
Trucks or the BMW Certified Pre-Owned Program.
