Complaint:
High pitch whining noise coming from the front axle
Cause:
Possibly the front differential
Remedy:
1. Please do not replace the front differential.
2. Please record whining noise. Locate the recorder between the front seats on approximately the same height as the
seat cushions.
3. Please open a PTSS case and document the following information in this case
a. Sound File
b. When does the noise occur? (Acceleration / deceleration/ coast down)
c. Speed range
