SS 1033226: LBCU LCD display changes from daytime to nighttime and the gauge backlighting comes on when the park brake is released. Service Solution Title: LBCU LCD display changes from daytime to nighttime and the gauge backlighting comes on when the park brake is released. Applicable Vehicles FCCC Motorhomes with Pollak instrumentation with an LBCU part number of A66-01812-XXX. (XXX=all versions) LBCU part # found in module 811 Symptoms Complaint of the dash LCD inverting from daytime to nighttime and the gauge backlighting coming on when the park brake is released. Issue DRL voltage input to the LBCU exceeds the LBCU threshold of 11v when the park brake is released. Solution See attached schematic. G06-84442-000. Locate pin D16 circuit 359 (light green wire) and pin D13 circuit GND (black wire) on the LBCU 32 pin connector. Trace both wires approximately 2 " from the connector. Cut and properly splice in a 1.2k ohm resistor between circuits 359 and GND. The resistor can be purchased from a local electrical supply house. 1
