SERVICE INFORMATION
When inspecting the Air Conditioning (A/C) system in the applied vehicle for refrigerant leaks, some of the
refrigerant connections may be difficult to see.

See Figure 1 on the next page for areas that should be inspected whenever the A/C system is
inspected for refrigerant leaks.

individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that
a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Infiniti retailer to determine if this
applies to your vehicle.

Refrigerant Connections
In addition to the areas circled in GREEN below, the areas that are highlighted/circled in RED should also be
inspected whenever the A/C system is inspected for refrigerant leaks.

To inspect areas that are highlighted/circled in RED, it may be necessary to remove the front bumper
fascia and front spoiler.

Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for front bumper fascia and front spoiler removal; BODY
EXTERIOR, DOORS, ROOF & VEHICLE SECURITY > EXTERIOR > REMOVAL AND
INSTALLATION > FRONT BUMPER.
NOTE: If a refrigerant leak is found in the areas highlighted/circled in red, replace the Liquid Tank and
Condenser Assembly.
