Door handle(s) may also show signs of a 'clunky' type motion and/or noise when locking the vehicle. CAUSE: This may be caused by the door handle(s) being manufactured away from the required specification. ACTION: Should a customer express this concern, follow the Inspection Procedure and, if necessary, Workshop Procedure below. PARTS: No Parts Required TOOLS: Refer to Workshop Manual for any required special tools. WARRANTY: NOTES: Repair procedures are under constant review, and therefore times are subject to change; those quoted here must be taken as guidance only. If all of the exterior door handles do fully retract to the correct position and do not show signs of a 'clunky' type motion and/or noise, do not continue with this Technical Bulletin as the customers concern does not relate to its content. If any of the exterior door handles do not fully retract to the correct position and/or do show signs of a 'clunky' type motion and/or noise, go to the Workshop Procedure below. Repeat this filing motion 3 additional times. If the clearance is between 14.1 mm and 14.3 mm, go to Step 6. If the clearance is less than 14.1 mm, repeat Steps 4-5. If all of the reworked exterior door handles do fully retract and do not show signs of a 'clunky' type motion and/or noise, release the vehicle.
