Export Regions Condition Some customers may comment that the ride control mode will not extend over ignition cycle from sport mode, defaults to tour mode. Cause This condition may be caused by a software anomaly. Correction Technicians should reprogram the engine control module (ECM). Service Procedure Warranty Information Important: Stable battery voltage is critical during programming. Any fluctuation, spiking, over voltage or loss of voltage will interrupt programming. Install the EL-49642 SPS Programming Support Tool (GM Dealer Equipment Item #PSC-550) to maintain system voltage. If not available, connect a fully charged 12 V jumper or booster pack disconnected from the AC voltage supply. DO NOT connect a battery charger. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup with SPS in SI. For vehicles repaired under warranty, use: Labor Operation Description Labor Time 2810075 Engine Control Module Reprogramming with SPS Use Published Labor Operation Time Version 2 Modified Released October 18, 2018 November 26, 2018 – Updated the Subject and added the ATS model.
