DESCRIPTION:
*In some cases, the DTC VCM-B15F855, “Missing Authenticated Lock Signal Secret Key”, and/or
CEM-B158151, “No Secret Key Programmed RDU System Programming Failures Not programmed”,
may be set, usually after a software update.
This is due to that VCM and CEM are prepared for “Secret Key”- function, a function that will not be
offered in the US and CA markets.
In the VCM and CEM software, that will be released week 17 2019, this function is deleted, and the
DTC’s will not be set.
VCM = Vehicle Communication Module
RDU = Remote Door Unlock
CEM = Central Electronic Module
VOC = Volvo On Call
SERVICE:
These DTC’s can be ignored, as they don’t affect any of the functions in the car, such as VCM, apps,
VOC, CEM.
VEHICLE REPORT:
Yes, please submit a Vehicle Report if the service solution described in this TJ has no effect. Use
concern area “Vehicle Report” and sub concern area “Support not needed”, use function group 3975.
