If a Check Engine Light in combination with DTC ECM-P0EBF24 “A/C Refrigerant Temperature sensor A” is set in vehicle, please follow “Service”. Technical explanation: * If the customer uses the Pre-Condition function (also called Parking Climate) or Remote Start then this DTC could be set when the car is started afterward. This has been identified as misdetection in the Software. ECM = Engine Control module IHU = Infotainment Head Unit VOC = Volvo On Call SERVICE: Please clear the DTC and release the vehicle. Do not replace any components Work is ongoing to create a service solution. * The fault can be avoided by ceasing use of Pre-Conditioning (Parking Climate) and Remote Start. An earlier revision of this TJ included a note to use Remote Start as work around, this information was incorrect. * Pre-conditioning (Parking Climate) can be activated using a timer in the IHU, manually in the IHU, with a timer in the VOC App, and manually in the VOC App. Remote Start can only be activated through the VOC app. VEHICLE REPORT: Yes, please submit a Vehicle Report, “Support needed” if the information in this TJ has no effect.
