Hard copy documents are printed in USA on recycled paper containing a minimum of 50% wastepaper and 10% post-consumer waste. © 2019 VOLVO CAR USA, LLC Technical Journal 34446.1.0 DESCRIPTION: If a Check Engine Light in combination with DTC ECM-P0EBF24 “A/C Refrigerant Temperature sensor A” is set in vehicle, please follow “Service”. Technical explanation: If charging cable is connected with power and the customer uses the Pre-Condition function (also called Parking Climate) then this DTC could be set when the car is started afterward. This has been identified as misdetection in the Software. ECM = Engine Control module IHU = Infotainment Head Unit VOC = Volvo On Call SERVICE: Please clear the DTC and release the vehicle. Do not replace any components Work is ongoing to create a service solution. The fault can be avoided by ceasing use of Pre-Conditioning (Parking Climate). Remote Start can be used as an alternative when the vehicle is not connected to a charging cable. Pre-conditioning (Parking Climate) can be activated using a timer in the IHU, manually in the IHU, with a timer in the VOC App, and manually in the VOC App This work around can be shared with the customer.
