Page 1 of 2 192065 TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN Hybrid/Energi - Illuminated MIL With DTC P013A - Built On Or Before 27-Jan-2019 05 March 2019 Model: Ford 2017 Fusion 2019 Fusion 2017 C-Max Lincoln 2017 MKZ 2019 MKZ Issue: Some 2017 Fusion Hybrid/Fusion Energi/MKZ Hybrid/C-Max and 2019 Fusion Hybrid/MKZ Hybrid vehicles built on or before 27-Jan-2019 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P013A stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to downstream oxygen sensor parameters in the PCM software. To resolve the condition, update the PCM software. Action: Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria: • One of the following vehicles: - 2017 Fusion Hybrid/Fusion Energi/MKZ Hybrid/C-Max - 2019 Fusion Hybrid/MKZ Hybrid • Built on or before 27-Jan-2019 • The only DTC stored in the PCM is P013A Labor Times Operation No. Description 2017 Fusion Hybrid/Fusion Energi/MKZ Hybrid/C-Max Hybrid/CMAX Energi And 2019 Fusion Hybrid/MKZ: Retrieve DTCs And Reprogram The Appropriate Modules As Required By The Software Update Includes Time To Clear Codes After Repair (Do Not Use With Any Other Labor Operations) 192065A Time 0.5 Hrs. Repair/Claim Coding Causal Part: RECALEM Condition Code: 04 Service Procedure 1.
