Correction: If replacing the front crankshaft oil seal for an oil leak, perform the following diagnostic checks to avoid a repeat service visit. Check for current or history misfires in GDS2. Refer to the latest version of PIP5421 "Malfunction Indicator Lamp Illuminated With DTC P0300" for compression and cylinder leakage checks to be sure that no piston damage has occurred as this can cause elevated crankcase pressures leading to engine oil leaks.
