Remedy:
1 - Inspect and replace exhaust bracket to transmission (DPF to Transmission) as needed. (Pic. "EPC OM651" #550)

Note: Mounting screw locations exhaust bracket to transmission (DPF to Transmission) (Pic. 7 & 8)
2 - Inspect bell housing for damage and replace as needed. (Pic. 2)
3 - Inspect and replace exhaust bracket at cylinder crankcase (DPF to Engine) as needed. (Pic. "EPC OM651" #217)
Installation sequence of the new exhaust brackets are crucial.
Follow the exhaust bracket installation instructions below:
Positioning of the exhaust system - (Pic. "Positioning of the exhaust system")
1.
Position and fit exhaust system in place
2.
Push the exhaust system forward, mount the bracket and tighten screw lightly
3.
Screw bolts in engine mount and V-mounting by hand (2 turns)
Tightening sequence of the exhaust system - (Pic. "Tightening sequence of the exhaust system)
1.
Tighten screws at engine mounting (25Nm)
2.
Tighten screws at V-mounting (25Nm)
3.
Tighten bracket (15Nm)
