Complaint:
Gap formation between seat cushion cover and side panel of seat.
Cause:
Dimensioning of seat cushion cover.
Remedy:
Insert the spacer under the fabric as described in the instructions if the gap is not OK following visual inspection. The
seat cover is not replaced.
Operation step 1: Visual inspection
-> Clearly visible hole and/or fraying -> cover not OK (see instructions, page 1)
-> Narrow gap without fraying -> cover OK (see instructions, page 1)
Operation step 2: Move seat and prepare spacer
-> Move seat forward and upward (see instructions, page 2)
-> Remove film from bonding surface of spacer (A 124 695 00 33) (see instructions, page 2).
Operation step 3: Lift side bolster and insert spacer
-> Push side bolster of seat toward vehicle center and lift (see instructions, page 3)
-> Push spacer, bonding surface first, into opening (see instructions, page 3)
Operation step 4: Fit cover
-> Slide cover over spacer and carefully pull it down (see instructions, page 4)
Operation step 5: Stroke side bolster toward spacer
-> Stroke side bolster toward spacer (see instructions, page 5)
