Complaint:
Operational complaints of ambient lighting and no fault codes are logged in the ambient lighting control unit.
Cause:
Software error
Remedy:
IMPORTANT: The LEDs communicate over the LIN bus and are controlled via the ambient lighting control unit. The
head unit is only for making settings. Therefore, replacing the head unit and wiring harnesses does not remedy the
complaint.
New software is expected to be available in December. This TIPS document will be updated as soon as the software
is available in the field.
