Shift quality complaints during slightly braked 3-2 coasting downshift / 2-3 acceleration upshift / 3-4 deceleration upshift.
Cause:
Continuous optimization of transmission software.
Remedy:
Modified software,
Request flash support file with SW A 000 902 27 42 for control unit update (VGS4NAG2) via PTSS case.
Please enter FIN/VIN and Xentry data status in TIPS case.
Programming the control unit (VGS4NAG2) with FIN specific flash support file from TIPS file (see attachment).
Then, on vehicles with switching quality complaints, adapt 2-3 acceleration upshift or 3-2 coasting downshift in Sport
drive program:
- Adapt 2-3 shift at least 5x or until no jolt is detectable at the beginning of the switch.
- Adapt 3-2 coasting downshift at least 5x.
