*ECU Electronic control module
*HCMR Headlamp Control Module Right
*HCML Headlamp Control Module Left
If DIM message “Low beam malfunction” or “High beam malfunction” and/or DTC HCM B157013 or
HCM B157913 are set, follow advice under Service.
SERVICE:
Replace the faulty headlamp if the vehicle is inside the concerned chassis range in TJ header.
Note: Do not replace the ECU HCML or HCMR. Do not replace both sides, only the one that is faulty.

Yes, please submit a Vehicle Report if the service solution described in this TJ has no effect. Use
concern area “Vehicle Report” and sub concern area “Support not needed”, use function group 3521.
