To: Hyundai Dealership General Managers, Sales Managers, Service Managers, Parts Managers, and Warranty Administrators From: Hyundai Motor America Date: 04/30/19 Subject: Service Campaign T3T – 2018 Elantra GT and 2019 Veloster DTC P0128 ECM Software Update (TSB# 19-01-016H) Hyundai Motor America is conducting a Service Campaign to update the ECM software on certain 2018 Model Year Elantra GT and 2019 Veloster vehicles equipped with 1.6L turbo engines. Service Campaign T3T provides a procedure to update the ECM software. In order to identify only those vehicles affected by Service Campaign T3T, it will be necessary to access Hyundai Motor America’s “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen via WEBDCS before starting the repair. The “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen will identify affected vehicles with an open Service Campaign T3T. A listing of VEHICLES is also located on WEBDCS, SERVICE tab, select INFORMATION, and select UNCOMPLETED CAMPAIGN VIN LISTING – Dealer Stock and Retailed vehicles. TSB #19-01-016H is available on Hyundai’s Website as of April 30, 2019. It contains instructions on performing the service and submitting the campaign claim. Applicable software for this campaign is available on Hyundai’s Service Website. It is IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT A CAMPAIGN CLAIM FOR EACH VEHICLE SERVICED so your dealership can be compensated for your work and Hyundai can maintain accurate records of campaign completions.
