Technical Background
Turbo charger rattle from the pivot on the waste gate actuator rod.
Service
For rattle noises from the Charge Air Pressure Actuator -V465-with no DTC’s, check to see if the pivot pin in the
actuator rod is loose and causing the rattle. If the rattle goes away when pressure is applied to the pivot pin, use a
retaining clip (06J-145-220-A, the same clip that was used on the CCTA turbos) to secure the rod. Part numbers are
for reference only. Make certain the parts catalog is referenced to obtain the latest applicable component.
