ECLIPSE CROSS FUEL SMELL CONCERN:
Breather Hose and Vacuum Pipe and Hose Assembly Replacement Procedure
REMOVAL
１）Remove the engine cover.

2）Remove the breather hose.

3）Remove the air intake pipe.
Loosen the hose clamps on both ends, then remove the 2 bolts.

6）Remove the vacuum pipe and hose assembly.

INSTALLATION
7-a）Attach the new vacuum pipe and hose assembly (p/n 1632A454).

7-b）Attach the new vacuum pipe and hose assembly (p/n 1632A454).
Bolt tightening torque:

８）Attach the harness clip.

９）Attach the air intake hose.

10）Attach the air intake pipe.
Tighten the clamps, then reinstall and tighten the 2 bolts.

7～17 N・m

11）Attach the hose protector (p/n 1035B467) to the breather hose (p/n 1035B477) as shown.

12）Attach the breather hose (p/n 1035B477) with protector attached.

13） Pass hose protector A (p/n 1035B491) between the vacuum pipe bracket and
the breather hose.

14） Fasten the hose protector A (p/n 1035B491) so that the button part comes
in front of the engine as shown.
