GENERAL MANAGER q PARTS MANAGER q q SERVICE INFORMATION BULLETIN APPLICABILITY: SUBJECT: NUMBER: 12-264-19 2015-19MY WRX and WRX STI Child Anchor Retaining Bolt- Design Change DATE: 05/15/19 INTRODUCTION: This Service Information bulletin announces a design change made to the retaining bolt used to secure the child anchors to the rear shelf plates on the models listed above. This change was made in support of parts communization with other similar mounting bolts. There is no change between the old and new bolt in terms of function or durability. Anchor Locations PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION: The new bolts were incorporated as a running change. No starting VIN information is available. PART INFORMATION: The part number for the new FLANGE BOLT is: 901000473. REMINDER: Always order the most up-to-date replacement parts based on the specific VIN being repaired. Bulletin Number: 12-264-19; Date: 05/15/19 Page 1 of 2 NOTE: The torque specification for the new Flange Bolt is: 25 Nm (18.4 ft. lbs.).
