VAS 6558A High Voltage Test Module Technical Support 1912 USA Only Porsche Special Tools & Equipment has asked Porsche Dealers to remove the VAS 6839 from the HV Tool Box because VAS the unit could return erroneous absense of voltage readings. After researching all available options, PAG has decided that the VAS 6558A could be used to safely accomplish this need when checking for absence of voltage on the battery case in Porsche Hybrid Vehicles. The VAS 6558A was originally slated to be released with Taycan tools and has since been moved up to accomplish the current need. Porsche Special Tools & Equipment will release the VAS 6558A as an auto-ship tool starting CW 23/19 Thursday June 3, 2019. This tool will reside in HV Tool Box Drawer 7.
