Solution K93394430 Tuesday, July 2, 2019 8:07:11 PM CEST ** SOLUTION ** Title Engine Brake - Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1021-11 Volvo Compression Brake (VCB) Control Circuit Short To Ground - US17+OBD16 Through US17+OBD19 Emissions, Model Years 2018 To 2020 Mack Models Mack Model MRU - TerraPro , TE - TerraPro , AN - Anthem , CHU - Pinnacle, Axle back , CXU Pinnacle, Axle front , GR - Granite , GU - Granite , PI - Pinnacle Volvo Models Volvo Model VNL , VNM , VAH , VHD Emission Standard Emission Standard US17+OBD16 , US17+OBD18 , US17+OBD19 Engine family Engine family 13L Engine , MP8 ** SOLUTION ** Cause The VCB circuit wires may rub on the air compressor supply pipe bracket, resulting in a short to ground circuit issue. Solution Once the circuit issue has been confirmed repair the damaged wires and move the harness away from the bracket so no further rubbing occurs.
