• Range does not exceed 201 miles (323 km) in the instrument cluster.
Technical Description:
• At PDI or after a PCM update, range may display 201 in the cluster. This is due to an
erroneous significant negative temperature value (-40deg) is reported by the PCM
during the vehicle manufacturing process (due to ambient temperature sensor not
being fitted when PCM is first powered).
Status:
• There is a manual patch available to resolve this concern, follow instructions from SSM
74445.
• Please ensure you follow all the steps.
• Step 26 advises to perform the range reset procedure which is in Bulletin
NAS18.11.014 and a brief description is in the SSM itself as well. This step is crucial
at the end of the procedure. The range will adapt to the customer driving style over
time.
