Customer statement:
 Noises when driving over uneven roads at moderate speed.
Workshop findings:
 When checking the drive train in the area of the propeller shaft and front differential, noises can be heard when
knocking by hand on the mounting.
Technical Background
The rattle noise heard when knocking on the mount are not related with the customer complaint. When the
vehicle is stationary there are no thrusting and pulling forces acting on the splines and the mounting is
unstressed.
The rattle noise can be caused in this condition and does not occur when driving. This is normal for this vehicle.
