Some customers may comment on seeing small pierced holes appearing in the sail
panel area, on one or both sides of the folding top cover. Examples of right side (1) and
left side (2) damage are shown in the graphics above.
Cause
The cause of the condition may be tension straps sewn into the top cover that were too
long in length. This allowed the top cover material to fold into, and be pinched by, the
kinematic hinge causing the wear/damage.
