Condition
Customer states:
 Multiple warning lights in the cluster.
 ESC warning light on.
Workshop findings:
One or more of the following DTCs may be stored in the ABS control module, J104 (address word 0003):
 DTC C051F00/C052000 (Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module “A”, suspension control module).
 DTC C102229 (Lateral acceleration 1 implausible signal).
 DTC C102029 (Yaw rate 1 implausible signal).
 DTC U015100 (Airbag control unit no communication).
Technical Background
When the vehicle is entering sleep mode, there is a small window of time in which waking the bus (e.g. door is
opened or the charger is connected) can mistakenly cause these DTCs in the ABS control module and the ESC
light comes on.
Production Solution
New software is being prepared.

Service
The DTCs can normally be deleted with an ignition cycle.
Note:
If DTCs do not clear after ignition cycle, proceed as follows:
 Proceed with a test drive. A speed of around 30 mph has to be exceeded and the steering wheel moved at
least 60 degrees to the right and left. When the ESC light turns OFF, the DTCs can be deleted.
