Description: When servicing a Genesis (DH) with a “Check Engine light” and any of the following
DTCs listed below are found stored, replace the throttle body.

DTC P061B - Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance.

DTC P0638 - Throttle Actuator Control Bank 1 - Range/Performance.
Applicable Vehicles:
2015-2016MY Genesis Sedan (DH) with 3.8L GDI engine.

1.
Replace the Throttle Body according to the shop manual repair procedure found at
HyundaiTechInfo.com:
2.
Erase the DTC by GDS in the Engine system and clear DTC in the Bluelink system.
Circulate To: Service Manager, Warranty Manager, Service Advisors, Technicians, Fleet Repair
