Some Prius Prime customers may experience a MIL ON condition. Vehicles might be put into a
failsafe mode and usage of battery will be discontinued.
Technicians find DTC code P0ABF28 stored in the ECU.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Please create a TAS case and attach any relevant Freeze Frame Data to the TAS case. Once the
TAS case is created please call TAS for further instructions. If it's a weekend or holiday continue with
diagnosis and repair, save all parts and details, contact TAS on the next available work day and
review details with TAS engineer.
